Order Information
To place phone orders, call (518) 436-9606 or call our toll free
order line at (800) 476-8050 in the lower 48 US states between 9:30am -
5pm Monday to Friday eastern time zone. You may also fax your order to
(518) 465-2945.
Scanner World USA Inc. accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express,
and Discover. Credit, debit, and cash cards are accepted. Charge card information placed with order should match the billing address of the card.
You may also order by mail. For USA orders we accept business, company or personal checks, bank / postal money orders, and cashiers tellers checks. Orders
received with business, company or personal checks will be held 4 weeks
for bank clearance of the check.
Most in stock orders are shipped the same or next day. All
merchandise is brand new in factory sealed cartons (unless otherwise
noted). Scanner World does not dropship any merchandise. All advertised
products are stocked and shipped from our own Albany, NY warehouse. Out
of stock items will be backordered and you will be notified of
approximate availability and delivery date.
Scanner World USA Inc. does not ship any merchandise on a trial or
demo basis. Prices, specifications and terms subject to change without
prior notice. We are not responsible for any typographical errors. All
shipments are F.O.B. Scanner World USA Inc. warehouse in Albany, NY.
Call (518) 436-9606 immediately to report damage or shortage. All
claims and adjustments must be made within 7 days of invoice. No
returns accepted after 7 days. Any returns or exchanges on new unopened
items will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Shipping, handling, or
processing charges and
any other surcharges are non-refundable. All brand new merchandise
carries
manufacturer's warranty. Only bid proposals and purchase orders from
U.S., federal, and local government agencies are accepted with net 10
days terms upon approval. Add New York State sales tax to total of
order, including shipping and handling charge, on shipments made within
New York State.
Shipping Charges
Add shipping charge (S&H) per item as listed next to price of product
and $6.75 for any and all accessories ordered at the same time.
Antennas and other products have their own shipping charge if a S&H
amount is shown next to the item. Web site will calculate correct toatl for each order.
Shipping totals are automatically calculated online which include S&H, processing, insurance, and delivery for orders shipped to the 48 contiguous continental US states.
Shipping / handling charges and other surcharges are NOT
refundable. All orders shipped within the lower contiguous 48 states
continental USA will be charged shipping as calculated by shopping
cart. Online order entry is only accepted from the 48 contiguous
continental US states and will show correct toatal including S&H. For shipments outside the continental 48 states you may enter order online and we will advise you by email total including S&H.
To place your order by phone from outside the 48 contiguous continental US
states area call 518-436-9606 Monday-Friday 10AM-4PM Eastern US Time.
Shipments made to a business must be listed in the phone directory
as a business at the given address. Any shipments made that are found at a
later date to have had an address correction or change by UPS ground shipments will incur a $10
surcharge billed to your credit card.
Red & Blue Air Service
For faster service, use UPS 2nd Day Blue or Next Day Red Label Air Service for delivery
within the lower 48 Continental U.S. States. You must include a street
address because UPS will not deliver to a PO Box. Shipping time is
approximately 1-3 business days. Scanner World USA Inc. does not
guarantee delivery date of UPS Air Service. Minimum shipping
charge for delivery by Blue Label is $25.00 per order. Please call
Scanner World for the exact shipping charge on any orders to be shipped
by Blue or Red Label Air Service. Orders paid by credit card, billing and
shipping address must be the same.

Eastern time Monday - Friday for same day shipping of in stock items.
This service is not available through the online shopping cart.
Shipping Questions
How
much will it cost to ship my order?
The easiest way
to calculate your shipping cost within the lower 48 continental US states is to simply add the merchandise to the
cart. This will display your merchandise total as well as the price for
all shipping options. For all other areas, enter your order online and we will advise you by return email the S&H charges or call 518-436-9606 to place your order.
How
long does it take for my order to arrive?
That depends on
product availability. Most in-stock orders
placed before 2:00 pm Eastern Time will ship the same business day. Once
it leaves our building, the time it takes to be delivered depends on
your location. We are located in Albany, NY and delivery time across
the US is approximately 1 to 6 business days depending on location shipped to. International shipments are usually 3 to 10 days depending on the location.

Return and Refund Policies

is your return policy?
No returns
or exchanges are accepted after 7 days. Returns and exchanges on new unopened items only, minus 15%
restocking fee. Shipping, handling, or processing charges and any other
surcharges are non-refundable.
Tax Concerns
Will I be charged sales tax?
One of the
great benefits of shopping with Scanner World is that most customers
will not have to pay sales tax. Only orders shipped to New York State are
charged tax.
Our shopping cart will automatically calculate sales tax if you are shipping your order to New York State.
If you are located in New York State, but your organization is tax
exempt, we can honor your tax exemption if you fax a completed and signed tax
exemption form to 518-465-2945. Bill to and ship to order information
must match information on tax exempt form.

How does SSL work?
- When accessing an SSL-secured Web site, the user's

the market.
